I went home for 48 hours, and here is how I spent my weekend (well, Saturday at any rate):
Breakfast at EVP (where I spent two summers) with one of my two favorite breakfast sandwiches (sourdough bread, egg, sausage, pepperjack cheese, tomatoes, light mayo & pepper).
Some quality time with my piano (a piece of furniture I have sorely missed the past few months).
Flowers, and the promise thereof. (Clockwise from the top left we have flowers of the maple, classic daffodil & tulips, cherries, and apricots)
Adventuring down to the river
Then I explored an old building that warns of pesticides. I didn’t look too hard, and emerged unscathed. There were however fascinating and colorful cabinets, a calendar from 1977 and lots of dust.
And then my dad took me for a motorcycle ride (and I rocked a suit that was way too big for me but kept me warm).
Then yesterday we celebrated Christ’s resurrection and had some delish grilled ham.
And now, back to the rainy west-side and the continually unsolved dilemma of what to do with my life. Hmm.
