the clear ringing of silver trumpets

It doesn’t look like much, but it’s a) delicious and b) “lembas“. Although it didn’t really turn out how it looks in the movies, it still tastes good to nibble on while watching the Lord of the Rings – which is what I happen to be doing this afternoon.

Since two years have passed since I’ve watched the trilogy in its entirety, I thought the time had come to revisit Middle Earth.

Although the lengthy duration means multi-tasking is highly likely (blogging, anyone?), I remain well-versed enough to already know the scenes – often by both script and soundtrack.

This time around I have been appreciating the cinematic, scenic shots that often transition between scenes. Ah yes, New Zealand will be a stamp my passport sees.

Words cannot adequately describe the love I have for this world that Tolkien created and Peter Jackson realized on the screen.
